Screen capture tutorials

Jing: Awesome, free screen capture software. If you do not already use screen-capture which allows you to easily capture part of your screen, insert text, add an arrow and place a border around the image, then Jing is probably what you need. Once the program is opened it sits at the side of your screen ‘ready to go’. Check out the tutorial. Jing is free for both PC and Mac. Download Jing for here. Snagit: Creating short, email-able videos. Snagit will also create screencasts. However, before you get too excited know that Snagit will not allow you to edit your recordings. Nevertheless, when you need to create one-minute answer to someone’s question (rather than spending ten minutes explaining it in an email), Snagit is perfect. The video at left explains how. Access the Snagit page here. |
