Attending the Authentic Assessment in Mathematics day was well worth both the four hour drive to Sydney and giving up a Saturday. Jackie shared many resources as well as her experience of running alternative style assessment tasks in all years and with all ability levels. I was able to use lots of the ideas and resources back at my school immediately. Sally Sim, Scone Grammar School

One of the best professional learning days that I attended in 2017. Jackie shared her expertise along with a mountain of resources and tasks that addressed many of the working mathematically outcomes across all year groups. I was inspired to go back to my faculty and pass on all that was shared during that day. As a consequence, we've put in place new processes that improve the way we design assessments. Overall a great workshop. I would actually go again! Vicki Zacharia, Rouse Hill HS

Yet again another successful and incredibly useful session from PD4MaTHS.  Jackie provided many take away assessments ready to go across different stages.  I especially liked the creativity of the 'designing a clock' assessment, which I cant wait to use with my year 7 class this year.  In addition, the generosity of the teachers who had made the effort to attend on a Saturday morning, in  their sharing of resources, further strengthens my passion for our subject and those who teach it.  Definitely time well spent. Lisa Trapnell, Riverside Girls High School

Feedback

I have never interacted with this amount of teachers in professional dialogue of such a high standard of inspiration, structuring and participation. The format is very flexible and wonderfully varied in perspectives. I am enjoying it. Thank you.
