Focus on the Focus Studies

The four Focus Studies in Preliminary Mathematics General and HSC Mathematics General 2 present teachers with wonderful opportunities to engage students in some authentic practical applications of mathematics.
 
This 1-day workshop will provide classroom teachers and heads of department with ideas, tools and resources for teaching and assessment. 
 
Participants will receive numerous ready-to-use electronic teaching resources. These will be demonstrated and discussed on the day. The course content is also applicable to some of the
General 1 Focus Studies.
 
Some use of computer technology will be included, so bring your lap-top and charger on the day. Power boards will be provided.
