Testimonials - Positive Classroom Management
I am a counsellor working with children and teenagers at a K-12 college. The presentation on Positive Classroom Management was fantastic because it was informative and relevant with practical and proven strategies for staff that work in a school setting. I walked away with new ideas on how to support students and staff on how to respond to challenging behaviours. The presentation was clear, engaging, models the strategies taught and uses various teaching styles to engage different learning styles. The presentation slides and other helpful information is provided. Shelah Magtibay, Toongabbie Christian College, March 2019
I am a primary school teacher working with children at a Pre-K to 12 School. The presentation on Positive Classroom Management was really informative, well presented and also allowed us to be actively involved in discussions. I discovered new ideas to engage students with routines and activities which can support them to be more settled and quiet in class. I also discovered new techniques to understand students more. I am looking forward to future presentations. William Ip, St Paul’s Grammar, March 2019
I am a new secondary teacher in my first year of full-time teaching. While my uni training and prac experiences went some way to prepare me for the demands of classroom management, after my first few weeks I realised I needed to improve my skills quickly in this area, particularly in order to better deal with my more demanding classes. The Positive Classroom Management course has provided me with a number of practical strategies that I can immediately bring back to my classroom. In fact I have already started implementing one of them with some success. The course was taught in a friendly, non-judgemental environment with collegial input from fellow teacher attendees. It was well worth attending. David Caulfield, Cumberland High School
I found the course really useful. It really reminded me to stay positive and probably to try and put myself in the students' shoes a bit more. I will also be sharing some of the useful strategies and techniques with my colleagues. Sarah Boyd, Redlands
