Will your school be prepared to successfully implement the new Stage 6 Mathematics Standard school-based assessment requirements in 2018?
  • Maximum of three tasks in Year 11
  • Maximum of four tasks in Year 12
  • New components and weightings
  • Compulsory assignment or investigation-style task
This course will be very useful for the teachers of Year 11 Standard in 2018.
Description of the content and intent of these workshops
The components of Working Mathematically and how they could look in your assessments.
Examples of non-traditional assessment tasks for Years 7 to 10 and Stage 6 Standard.
Advice about changes to make in Stages 4 & 5 to better prepare students for Stage 6.
Suggestions and discussion regarding the use of technology in assessment.
Providing meaningful and constructive feedback to students about their achievement
