School-Based Mental Health Support

This is a highly practical and informative day that will assist school leaders and teachers build an understanding of how best to identify and support students with mental health concerns including anxiety, depression and self-harm (non-suicidal self injury)
This workshop will examine:
  • Most common mental health disorders and their impact on learning and engagement
  • Practical school-based adjustments to support students with mental health issues
  • Effective collaboration with external professionals
  • Guidelines for information sharing​
  • Structured return to school planning
  • Risk management and planning
